Customer Assistance to the Women's Department, Please
Hey Reader,
Well, my first shift in the daytime wasn't too bad. It was just BORING as hell. I mean, it was klinda interesting to hear all the customer assistance calls and know it's not just one of the other overnighters being funny. Other than that, I was just bored out of my mind.
All I did was put some purses out and then straighten clothes up the rest of the time. I gotta admit, the folding table thing is kinda cool, but only like for the first four times. After that it's just boring. So for like six hours or whatever it was, I was bored and just wanted to go home. Truck nights are so much more interesting because there is something to DO. All night. You go to break with an idea of what you'll be doing when you get back, you go to lunch knowing what you have left to do, you get close to punch out time wondering if you'll end up staying late (if corporate has given the store those hours or someone didn't work or whatever), but there wasn't anything to really do in my day shift.
In other news, it looks like that White Christmas will hit me anyways. We shall see, because so far all we've had is regular rain, not really too much sleet or freezing rain let alone snow. We're expecting 3-6 inches, but we'll see. I wouldn't mind too much, save for the fact that it's kinda a pain in the ass to drive in and won't go away right after the holiday.
There's not much else to tell, except that I'm hoping to keep working on the chapter. . .
