Stop Joseph Kony

This post is about a terrible man named Joseph Kony. The goal is to make this vile man as famous as possible so the focus can be put on him to assist in his capture.

This story reminds me of another story I read back in college when I took a memoir class. That was the story of Loung Ung. She was a child soldier in the 1970s under the terrible reign of Pol Pot in Cambodia. Her story is one of triumph, showing that we can overcome this type of evil and rise above to be better people. This is important. Unlike during Pol Pot's reign, people are connected and aware of things more than ever before. We have a voice like never before and it is up to us to use it. Either we turn away and let this continue---and God forbid someday happen elsewhere or even HERE---or we stand up and DO what is right. Stop Kony. Stop all the Konys out there. Don't turn away, and don't stand down.
